About Us
Initially registered as 'Mattanur Producers cum Consumers
Co-operative Society' under the Madras Co-op Societies Act, 1932,
as per order number R.D.86(A) dated 31.07.1946 of the Registrar of
Co-operative Societies Kozhikode. The society was transformed as
The Co-operative Rural Bank as per order number R.C.3211/55.F
dated 12.02.1966 of the Office of the Deputy Registrar of
Co-operative Societies Kozhikode. At present our society is one of
the leading primary agricultural credit societies in Kerala,
deemed to have been registered under the provisions of Kerala
Co-operative Laws 1969(Act Number 21,1969).
Area of Operation
Area of operation of The Mattanur Co-operative Rural Bank Ltd. covers the eight revenue villages including Pattanur, koodali, Keezhallur, Pazhassi, Kolari, Chavassery, Thillankeri and Sivapuram.
